This holiday season, Flaming Lips fans can head to Ohio for a real Christmas at the Zoo experience. Toledo's annual Lights Before Christmas holiday spectacular at the city zoo will kick off on November 20. This year's display features more than 32,000 LED lights.

As in previous years, visitors will be able to visit the zoo after hours to see their favorite exotic animals in the glow of holiday lights.

The zoo takes advantage of their vast wildlife conservatory to light dozens of trees, with special emphasis on their 85 foot spruce tree. This year, the spruce will be adorned with an unprecedented number of LED bulbs, featuring more lights than New York City's Rockefeller Center tree.

This year's festival will also showcase a Dancing Lights display featuring state-of-the-art LED wide-angle mini-lights, synchronized to classic holiday tunes. The show is also hoped to get some live animal participation as the lights will dance around the zoo's cheetah valley.

Holiday light shows set in zoos are an increasingly popular Yuletide attraction. Visitors and locals of Chicago, Phoenix, Portland, and Indianapolis can enjoy the twinkle of holiday lights with their favorite wildlife animals this season. ADNFCR-2708-ID-19462873-ADNFCR
