Halogen bulbs reduce energy consumption and electricity bills.
With spring cleaning around the corner, homeowners can start clearing their houses of energy inefficient products and make way for an eco-friendly future in their homes. One of the simplest ways to do this is through changing light bulbs.

According to a report from Sylvania, lighting makes up about 20 percent of the average household's energy bill. Replacing incandescent light bulbs with energy-saving light bulbs can make a big impact on electric costs - not to mention the environment.

Maybe you're worried that switching traditional bulbs for eco-friendly ones will change the warm, well-lit atmosphere of your home. But the latest halogen bulbs released from Sylvania are designed to make the transition from traditional to tech-savvy lighting as seamless as possible.

One happy customer at TMCNet's green technology news website says that the dimmable feature on the bulb makes it a nice, not-too-bright light. She claims she hasn't had to sacrifice quality mood lighting for eco-efficiency, saying halogen bulbs are "great options" for "accent lighting for home decor, directional lighting for track and recessed fixtures, as well as for functional lighting."

The newly released halogen bulbs can also offer homeowners savings since they sell for just a fraction of the cost of other energy-saving light bulbs. Why not give them the chance to illuminate your home while you save some cash?ADNFCR-2708-ID-19675464-ADNFCR
