On CSI: Miami, Eva LaRue's character works as a DNA analyst to solve murder-related crimes. In real life, the actress tackles crimes of energy inefficiency.
According to the Mother Nature Network, LaRue just move into a new home where she switched every light bulb to a
CFL. She says that using
energy-saving light bulbs is one way she makes efforts to practice eco-conservation.
LaRue also claims her home has low-flow toilets and low-flow shower heads. Additionally, she says she and her fiance are training her young daughter to start recycling so she will grow up with environmentally-friendly habits.
But LaRue says she most appreciates compact fluorescent light bulbs. Not only do they help her due her eco-conscious part, but they also save her costs in replacement
bulbs and a little personal energy exertion. "They last up to seven years so you're not climbing ladders trying to change them all the time," she told the source.
LaRue is part of an ever increasing Ecollywood community. Stanley Tucci, Lucy Lawless, Matt Damon and claim they use eco-friendly light bulbs.
