LED lights need drivers and cooling controls.
LED lights need drivers and cooling controls.
The LED lighting industry is producing brighter and more energy efficient LED light bulbs, but LED light bulbs need drivers and cooling inside the lighting modules that go into building LED light fixtures.

Nuventrix, a maker of thermal management products for consumer devices, is pairing up with Roal Electronics to offer both LED drivers and cooling together for light fixtures. Both companies said their module will help manufacturers of light fixtures save time and improve efficiency.

Nuventix said its SynJet cooling system provides up to 100,000 hours of cooling and silent operation for LED lighting modules. Roal Electronics said its drivers deliver maximum power efficiency through netter than 90 percent conversion.

Products from Nuventrix are also being used for cooling the Philips Fortimo LED lighting system, which supports lighting applications for general business use such as hospitality, offices and retail locations.

LED light bulbs increase efficiency over incandescent light bulbs by magnitudes, up to 50,000 hours worth of illumination. The LED light bulb is used through a range of lighting products and electronics like cell phones and tablets, along with signs, decorations, flashlights and other applications.ADNFCR-2708-ID-19418496-ADNFCR
