Sylvania introduces new automotive lights.
This month, Osram Sylvania launched 58 new automotive light products - the most in the company's longstanding history as providers of automobile light solutions.

Company executives say they are releasing the products to meet market and consumer demand. Indeed, according to JustAuto.com, the headlamp markets are steadily growing as consumers are paying more attention to the types of bulbs front-light suppliers offer.

"Sylvania is always looking to meet consumer needs with innovative automotive lighting solutions," said Joe Verbanic, marketing manager for Sylvania Automotive Lighting.

The new offerings include a variety of headlights and signal bulbs that use energy saving technology.

Sylvania says the new EcoBright headlights are 25 percent brighter than standard bulbs and reduce a car's carbon dioxide emissions by up to 21 percent. Reportedly, if even one percent of registered cars switched to EcoBright, 21 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions would be avoided annually.

The new signal bulbs include SilverStar signal bulbs, which are up to 20 percent brighter and 30 percent whiter than standard signal bulbs. Supposedly, the allow motorists to see up to 10 percent farther and wider than other leading signal bulbs.

The improved lighting quality of these Sylvania products could make night driving safer. Injury Board reports that more than four in 10 accidents occur at night and can be linked to poor road lighting.ADNFCR-2708-ID-19474869-ADNFCR
