I was sitting out on the patio a few days ago watching the kids roasting marshmallows over our campfire and it got me thinking back to my childhood days.  I just loved being outside at night, especially when I was able to use my party lights.  for some reason, I had a fluorescent black light fixture as well as a couple multi colored spinning lights.  Much like the times I got to see all the Christmas lights glowing in the dark house, I loved using these party lights.  I know what you might be thinking--I was very easily entertained!  

 

I decided to head inside and get the lights out I used to use and plugged them in to the socket on the patio and presto!  The kids were immediately drawn to them.  I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.  ;)  Such a simple thing as colored lights dancing and spinning in the dark really brought smiles to their faces and made an already great pre-summer evening absolutely glorious!
