The other day, I was sitting around the conference room table here at Light Bulb Central (as I have lovingly come to know it), listening to the Fulham Ballast folks talk about their products. Now, I've learned a lot about lighting ballasts in my many years here at eLightBulbs, so I figured I pretty much knew what they would show us. "I know all of this stuff, but at least it's a great opportunity to meet some nice people, and get away from the usual tasks at my desk for a few minutes..."
What I learned was really, really different. Fulham has created ballasts that are very, very flexible. VERY flexible. They named the different type of ballast families after some sort of horse/equine reference (Pony, FireHorse, IceHorse, etc.) The mainline family is called Workhorse. This covers all of the standard electronic fluorescent ballasts in T8 and T12. There are 8 models in this line. Each single ballast type covers a whole bunch of configurations and options, as opposed to typical ballasts.
We plan to add all of the Fulham Ballasts to eLightBulbs.com in coming weeks. For now, our Workhorse section is up and running, which covers most of the common replacement ballasts out there.
