We currently carry a relatively small variety of USHIO light bulbs, but that is soon to change as we stock up on the rest of their catalogue.  USHIO America, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of Specialty and General lighting solutions based in Cypress, California.  Originating in Japan, the US subsidiary was established in 1967 and now carries over 3500 General and Specialty lighting products. 

In addition to creating Specialty lights such as the light bulbs that power IMAX projectors, USHIO makes plenty of General light bulbs as well, such as halogen MR-16, LED MR-16, and other flood type lamps.  Ushio's Synergie™ line of LED MR-16 light bulbs is currently the world's most efficient line of LED MR-16s.  The light produced is indistinguishable from incandescent light at a distance, and the lamps use a fraction of the energy producing it.  Synergie ™ LED MR-16 lamps have an average rated life of 50,000 hours. 

The Eurosaver™ energy-saving halogen MR-16 line of light bulbs is unsurpassed if you must have the best quality light possible and energy isn't an issue.  They're about 30% more energy efficient than older halogen MR-16s, but still consume quite a bit more energy than the Synergie™ LEDs.  Eurosaver™ MR-16 lamps have an average rated life of 4000 hours. 

Cold cathode lamps have been used for years in laptop displays, copiers, and cell phones.  Even some of the new flat panel LCD TV screens and computer monitors utilize cold cathode technology because the technology is proven and reliable.  eLightBulbs.com has had a great selection of cold cathode CFLs available, and it's only getting better with the addition of USHIO's C3™ Cold Cathode series.  Cold cathode lamps are unique CFLs in that they are able to be turned on and off quickly without damage to the lamp, they work in colder temperatures than normal CFLs, and are dimmable in nearly every case.
