We've done some work on our product pages in order to help you find what you need easier and to give you more options once you've found your item, too. Our slogan drives us constantly: Stress Free Shopping. We put ourselves in a shopper's shoes daily, and we found some things that we felt would help us have less stress, and we hope you agree.
First, on some product pages, you will now find a reformatted Cross Reference section. This is meant to give you some shopping options for price, availability, and brand name. Once you've located your light bulb, you may see other brands listed below, along with the stock status and price of those options. So, for example, if you find your main item won't ship for a while, you can opt to order the same bulb in a different brand that is ready to ship today. Or you may be interested in finding the lowest price available, regardless of brand. The Cross Reference tool will help you do that, too.
Also added to some product pages was a Related Items section. This is a place we've put products that can be used with your item, or as a replacement for it. Some examples would be color or beam spread options. Another way we use this tool is to show you the ballast for the fluorescent bulb you need. No need to crawl up and write down the printing on the old ballast, just to search and find the replacement.
In addition to these two features, we've reorganized a bit to remove some "clutter". While the new Cross Reference and Related Items tools don't "reduce clutter", they give you truly handy information.
Believe it or not, we'd really love your ideas for our item page. Do you think it's too busy? Is there an important piece of information missing? Can you think of any design ideas that you think would improve it? Let me know, please! =)
