If you're looking to get some new energy efficient light bulbs, Westinghouse has you covered. They've recently expanded their product line, offering standard, candelabra and GU24 base long life compact fluorescent light bulbs in a variety of shapes and sizes. These energy efficient CFLs last up to 10,000 hours with twist designs including both mini-twist and standard twist style.
The complete new line includes dimmable, 3-way, colored, coated, high wattage and aluminum reflector PAR specialty lamps. The lamps provide excellent color rendition as well as a broad range of color temperatures. Wattages from 9 to 23 utilize T2 tubing for smaller bulbs which more easily replace A-shape incandescents.
Westinghouse's contemporary CFLs are usable in a wide variety of applications, such as chandeliers, ceiling fixtures, security lighting, difficult-service-areas, vanity bars, and many more. CFLs can be used in nearly any place incandescents are used, with few exceptions. The money saved in the long term through energy efficient
light bulbs varies between applications, but is worth it in all cases.
There are many features and benefits of these energy-saving alternatives to incandescent lamps, namely the 75% reduced electricity use. In addition, these CFLs have long lives, rated to last from 8,000 to 10,000 hours. They start instantly with no flicker, and are available in high wattages up to 105 watts. If you need CFLs for more robust applications, there are durable Toughshell rubber-coated mini-twists available. All in all, Westinghouse Lighting has an excellent line of CFLs available for nearly any application.
