Where can I find T3 or T4 halogen light bulbs? We think you've come to the right spot, since we have hundreds of them listed here. If you are wondering what a "T3 light bulb" is, maybe I can jog your memory.
They're used in a lot of different fixtures, especially table lamps and floor lamps. This bulb type was in the center of controversy in the past as some fixtures that use them were designed poorly. Specifically, the halogen floor lamps that use the 300 watt or 500 watt bulbs were the ones causing the trouble. It turns out it isn't the bulb that is the problem, but the lack of shielding on the fixture. Drapes and other window coverings would sometimes drop into the top of the lamp and touch the hot bulb, and start on fire. Since the problem was so wide spread, manufacturers added shields to the fixtures now, and the safety level has been raised.
So, how to find out which one you need? Hopefully, your burned-out light bulb has printing on it that will show you the bulb's order code. It might look something like this: 100T3Q/CD. (Incidentally, if you want someone to help you ID your bulb, we're here to help. Call our customer service department and we'll figure it out for you!) Once you "click here to buy online" above, then use our product filter to narrow down the bulb type you need. Wattage is the first thing to filter, followed by volts, and finally base type. You should now have a smaller, more manageable list of options where you can choose the final bulb you need to order.
