We just added an assortment of new Energizer products! The first I'll mention is the Energizer Weatheready Emergency Weather Station. The Weatheready EWS is the first area lantern with NOAA Emergency Radio built in. The radio is capable of receiving AM/FM, Weatherband, and NOAA Emergency Alert transmissions. The station includes a USB cell phone charger port. Dual power options include manual crank power, or 8 AA batteries.
The weather station sounds great. I like electronics that come with manual-power mechanics like cranks, etc. There is no need for batteries with the crank, but you can use them anyway if you want; it's perfect! The rest of the items include a lot of mini flashlights utilizing LED technology. Some of them are handheld and some are hands-free, like the Energizer Trailfinder LED Cap Light, which can clip onto any baseball cap or other hat.
Clip-on lights like the Trailfinder are great for many things, near and far (at home or out camping). In addition to the many clip-on lights available from Energizer you can find headband styles. Look around the site to see what's been added; new things are being added all the time.
Pretty much all the just-added Energizer products use LED light technology. LEDs are being improved continually as time goes on, and it's only a matter of time before actual
LED light bulbs become cost effective enough to be used as standard household lighting. Lighting in the future will become quite interesting as time goes on.
