I used these lights to light my stairway and set them on a timer. The adhesive is great and the only issue I had with them coming off the wall was when my 2 year old daughter was pulling at them :) Great variety of colors/patterns and very good brightness. I've shown them to several of my friends who will be ordering them after they've seen what I did with them.
