These clips (and clips of this same type) are great for other applications besides just gutters and exterior light hanging. I use them to attach heavily flocked garlands to curtain and valance rods around windows. There are a million different uses for them whether it is holiday time or not. I love these clips!

Using this clip, we installed C-9 bulb size light strands along the metal roofs of our shopping center. Using one clip for each C-9 light bulb results in amazingly straight rows of lights. Much better appearance than just swagging the light strands over screws or nails.

A plus feature is the clips remain clamped to the light socket when removed from the building if used seasonally. This is the least expensive clip out there. (I recommend the web master provide a picture of the clip and light socket mounted on a building. This would help customers visualize how the universal clip is used).
