I have been using these type of lights for many, many years on an enclosed front porch with 8 windows. I use them in conjunction with candle lights for a nice presentation. The only problem I have is that you have to constantly look for burned out bulbs to replace. If too many bulbs burn out in the string, the entire string blows/burns out and you have to replace it entirely. So, you always have to be sure that you have spare strings on hand. Otherwise, I will continue to use these lights each year.
