GE light bulbs in the CFL category are marketed under the GE Biax light bulbs and GE Spiral brand names. These bulbs are becoming the new standard for household and office lighting, since they last about 6-10 times as long as regular bulbs, and use only 25% of the energy that normal bulbs use. They come in soft white and daylight. The office lighting use generally (but not always) needs the 2-pin or 4-pin base, while the residential lighting uses the screw in base.
