While I am happy that the Radko reproduction bubble lights are once again available, I was disappointed that the seven light set (as well as some extra lights) that I received was not as well made as the old nine light string. On close examination, a number of the light bulbs were cemented crookedly into their plastic bases, and far too much cement was used to hold the tubes, blocking the ventilation holes at the top of the upper base. Let me add that the quality of the individual parts of the lights seem to be as good as ever; it is the assembly that falls short. Hopefully, this was an artifact of the manufacturer's rush to get as many units out before Christmas, but there should have been more emphasis on quality control in the future.
Otherwise, the Radko bubble lights are as enchanting as ever, and - except for the quality control issue - I believe that they are a great buy for the money.
